About this directory
What this directory is
Perth Builder Hub lists 179 home builders across Perth metro, built for homeowners who want to shortlist a builder without wading through marketing pages one by one. Whether you’re planning a knockdown rebuild in the eastern suburbs or a first build on a block near the coast, the directory is meant to give you a starting point grounded in public data rather than whoever bought the most ads.
We’re an independent directory and comparison resource. We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for that introduction. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings. That separation is the whole point of the site: comparison first, connection second.
How listings get here and how they’re scored
Every builder on this site is built from public business information and a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t copy or republish review text; instead we read the pattern of recent feedback and fold it into a score alongside factors like responsiveness, licensing signals, years trading, and complaint patterns. Anyone who wants to check where a rating comes from can read the full walkthrough on our methodology page.
Rankings are earned from that published rubric and from data alone. No builder can pay to move up the list, and no builder can pay to have a competitor moved down. A listed business can request corrections to its own factual details (address, phone number, licence number, years operating) and we’ll update those promptly. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment reading, or its position in the ranking. That boundary exists so the list stays useful to homeowners rather than becoming another advertising feed.
Sponsored placements
Some pages include a listing marked “Sponsored.” These are clearly labelled, shown in a separate spot from the earned ranking, and never blend into or reorder the merit-based list above them. If a builder is both sponsored and ranked, the two facts sit side by side rather than one overriding the other.
Who’s behind it
Perth Builder Hub is published by Scout Local Media, an independent Australian publisher that’s been building practical guides and directories for the home building sector since 2026. Scout Local Media compiles listings from published review data and public business records specifically so rankings reflect genuine merit instead of paid placement. The company’s stated aim is plain: help homeowners find solid local builders while giving established businesses a fair, honest way to build their online visibility. You can read more about the publisher at scoutlocalmedia.com.au or reach the team directly at hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au.
Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Nadia Delgado, Editorial Lead, who manages how the rubric is applied across the directory. Data across all 179 listings goes through a full refresh every month, and you’ll find a “last verified” stamp on each individual listing showing when it was last checked, so you can judge for yourself how current the information is.

FAQ
- Can a builder pay to improve its ranking?
- No. Rankings come from the published rubric and data only. Sponsorship, when it appears, is labelled separately and never changes the earned ranking.
- Do you publish the actual text of Google reviews?
- No. We synthesise recent review patterns into our scoring and link out to Google rather than republishing review text.
- What can a listed business change about its own listing?
- It can correct factual details like address, phone number, or licence information. It cannot edit its own score, sentiment, or ranking position.
- How often is the data updated?
- The full directory is refreshed monthly, and each listing carries a last verified stamp so you can see when it was last checked.
- What happens when I ask to be matched with a builder?
- We pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee. This never influences scores or rankings, and is disclosed on the quote page.
