The Joondalup store delivers warm, patient service and staff who listen rather than push. Named team members-Zheng, Julz, Ritu, David (mostly praised), and Ruby-regularly go above and beyond to match customers to pieces and handle storage, delivery, and assembly without fuss. Post-sale fixes happen promptly. One early-closing staff interaction felt rushed, and a manager interaction was reported as dismissive, but these sit at odds with the overwhelming pattern of welcoming, pressure-free guidance.
Furniture quality is solid, and the store holds stock for building customers. Design consultation costs $199 in-home (waived on orders over $2,000). The Joondalup store excels at turning browsers into repeat visitors, particularly among families furnishing new homes who appreciate the no-pressure, helpful tone.
Most visitors praise the Joondalup store for friendly staff who know their stock and often help beyond the checkout. Individual staff members like Vanessa, Terri, and Jolandie are named in reviews for going out of their way. Complaints focus on online order errors taking days to resolve and fragile ceramics arriving poorly packaged.
All 10 recent reviews awarded five stars. Buildmark handles bathroom and laundry renovations, whole-home builds, heritage restorations, and NDIS-related modifications. Clients consistently praise Jovan, Marco, Ryan, and team members for clear communication, punctuality, and finishing under budget or on schedule. Reviewers highlight strong trade partnerships and work suited to first-time renovators through to complex heritage projects.
Most who have worked with Classic praise the team's responsiveness during design and build, particularly installer Jack and consultant Rob, as well as the quality of the finished work. The main friction point is aftercare: several reviewers report leaks and defects going unaddressed for months, and one account of the company dismissing warranty claims and damage that followed.
